  • I was informed the German version of Moto E manual has not been ready for public release. We will add it once it is available.
    We will add it this weekend.

      • It depends on your usage. You may install some monitoring apps to found out the cause of battery drain first. You may try cpuspy and gsam battery.

• I couldn't find a Dutch manual.

  I have downloaded a couple of ringtones which I no longer want . How do I delete them ?? X

  • If depends on the app you used to download the ringtones. Most ringtone apps have their own folder.

• How to stop extra app when is no space . it show the storeage dialok

  • You should free some space in the internal storage. For example moving media files to SD card.

    You may clear cache to some the problem temporally (settings - storage) .

  • Motorola didn't release the Spanish version of the user guide for Moto E.

    • I have forgotten my pass code and i really dont want to factory reset my phone please hepl!!

      • Its not giving me any other option.its just says to wait 30 seconds everytime ive been trying for while now .

        • I don't think you can do anything else. Android device manager can only lock it wipe phones and it doesn't unlock phones any more.

• How to use moto e Bluetooth

  • What do you want to do with bluetooth? For file sharing, you can install superbeam app.

• I installed a pattern for unlocking the phone. later i changed the pattern by a code. now phone shows the grid for accepting pattern password but it is not accepting the pattern set earlier. it is not giving option to enter the code. i am getting message 'wrong pattern'. pl advise how to remove the password lock. will resetting the phone help.

  • Pattern lock is always backed up with a password that you must set when setting patterns.

    If you try patterns wrongly for a few times, it will let you use the alternative password.

    If you try the password several times, it will offer you to use your Google account password to unlock it.

    Anyway, you can always unlock the phone with your Google account in android device manager from Othery devices or pcs.

• How to set the password for folder in moto e

  • This is not recommended in a phone.

• I Have purchased one Motto-E Mob.set on July,14. Suddenly since yesterday phone Ringtone is not working. only vibration mode is working. Pl advice how to solve it immediately.please send the local service center near my residential address given bellow.

• I selected SD card option in camera setting but after I take a photo I cant find where it have saved.. It's also not showing in gallery.. Pls help me

  • It is under DCIM folder in sd card. You can check it with es file explorer or from a pc.

• And how to transfer songs saved at phone memory to SD card ... I hav downloaded es file

  • Settings - storage - move media files.

    Or use es file explorer. The downloaded files are usually saved in the download holder in the internal storage.

• I have selected SD card in camer.. But after taking a photo its getting stored at SD card but photo is blank not showing the image.. Can u tell a solution plzz

  • What do you mean blank? Black or other colors? What is the file size? (tap and hold the photo to get the details of the photo)

    • Its showing black color.. But if I select phone memory and take a photo I can see the photo what I took.. Don't no y I this is happening.. File size is 540kb

      • It could be due to the sd card. Is it new or old?

        If you can connect your phone to the pc, you can backup everything in the card to a pc, then format the sd card from the phone at settings - storage. Please disconnect from the pc before formatting the sd card. Also, you should NOT format the sd card on the pc.

  • You need install some apps that can open them. You may try WPS office (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wps.moffice_eng&hl=en).

• When my Moto E goes completely dead it doesn't want to show signs of charging when plugged up. A white light comes on at the top of the phone, but the phone will not turn on. Is this normal? How long will it take for it to turn on?

  • You need wait 5-10 mins.

• I want the files which I received through bluooth to get stored to memory card....

  • Probably not. Motorola usually only releases English and Hindi versions in India.

• I'm looking forward to having a Polish manual. I just bought the phone for my Dad for Christmas. It's his first even smartphone, already getting the things roll, however few more sentences would be appreciated if he got tangled in the future. Anyway - thanks a lot! Great deal, bearing in mind the rig costed me like ~$130 and it's awesome (compared to my HTC One X+).

  • You may try the Polish version of Moto G user manual (#4 in this page: http://allaboutmotog.com/moto-g-manual/ ). Motorola didn't release a Polish version of the Moto E user manual.

• How to backup our deleted pictures from my phone ???

  • It depends where to backup. If you have wifi connections, you can always backup photos to your Google+ account automatically. This is turned on by default. You may check the settings in the Photos app.

    You can also backup your photos automatically to Dropbox or some other cloud storage providers.

    To backup the photos to your pc, you need connect the phone to the pc, then you can copy files directly.

    To delete photos, you can start Gallery app, tap and hold any photos, then tap the dustbin icon to delete. Please note, there is no undo options in android.

• How do I download photos from my moto e to my desktop pc

  • Follow the on-screen instruction.

  • First, in Gallery app, you should switch to albums view, not camera roll. Tap the navigation menu in top left, then tap albums.

    If images or videos are not displayed, reboot the phone (power off, then power on).

    If still not shown, you need check whether there are any .nomedia files in all WhatsApp folders. You need turn on show hidden files (.nomedia is a hidden file). You may try ES File explorer (http://motoeguide.com/moto-e-guides/manage-files-moto-e-es-file-explorer-file-manager/ )

  • There is no such an option. The original Moto E camera is not good for closeups.

    • Which model would be best for taking close-up also...and how do I delete messenging messages?

      • Moto E 2015 has a far better camera. To close up photos, you may need third party clip-on lens.

• How to reset paasword for voicemail in Moto e phone?

  • Voicemail is managed by your carrier. Password is NOT saved on the phone.

    You need contact the carrier (your phone company ) and they will guide you or they can reset it for you.

  • I don't think Motorola released the Greek version use guide for Moto E.

• Why do my calls go right to voicemail most of the time? And then there is a delay in getting a notification of the voicemail. I am on Boost. This is a major problem, help!!!!

  • Ask your carrier. Voicemail is fully controlled by your carrier. All messages are saved in their server, not your phone. The notification is also pushed by through their network. A few mins delay is normal hour most carriers.

    For the phone calls diverted to voicemail, you need check your voicemail settings, which again are not on your phone. Your carrier fluid have av user guide for this.

• I have updated my moto e from kiktkat to lolipop and my. Phone is getting hanged most of the time while using if I reset my phone in settings will the phone get back to KitKat version or still it ll remain as lolipop version please tell me..

  • it will be still on Lollipop. There is no official way to turn back to KitKat.

    backup all you data, then reset the phone. There are no big issues with Lollipop on Moto E. Lollipop 5.1 is the last update for Moto E. Moto E will not get Marshmallow update.

• In moto E by mistake keypad has deleted and nothing is coming in screen how to reinstall the same, pls help and cell phone is autometically switched off in few minutes.

  • You probably have to reset Moto E.

  • Moto E was not officcially launched in China. Only Moto G and Moto X were released in China.

• Can moto e first gen mobile battery can be changed?? I have a problem in it.. When the battery level is 50% it is automatically getting switch off..

  • You need visit local Motorola service center to replace the battery. This is the bad aspect of non-removable batteries. If there are no official Motorola service center near your area, you probably should consider to get a new phone.

  • are you sure you are looking for the user manual for the 1st gen of Moto E? What's the generation of your Moto E?

    For recent generations of Moto E, Motorola only released the English version of the user manual.
