    Unable to save photo edits.

    I am getting this error when trying to select a photo from for Contacts.

    Let me explain in detail.

    First step i will go to People > Create New Contact > click on the photo > Choose photo from Gallery

    In this i selected photo, click on “Done”.

    I am getting Unable to save photo edits.

      Once you select a photo, it should ask you “Complete action using”, you can choose from crop photo or crop picture, choose crop picture, it should allow you to crop the picture. Once finished, tap save button.

      I have no issues for this feature. But it seems a few Moto E owners reported similar problem. Probably it is due to some other settings.

          Very likely, you set the default app for this. Do you have any photo editing apps on your Moto E?

          Anyway, you can try Settings–Apps, tap, the menu key (3 vertical dots), tap Reset app preferences.

        You need test whether you can use photo edit and save feature in gallery app.

      If this happens often, you may try to reset the phone (settings-backup &reset–factory reset). You need backup your data before resetting.

      No, you cannot set different ringtones for each sim card.

    The user guide shows settings to turn the camera flash on/off but on my MOTO E, bought 3days ago, there is no flash option in the camera settings. Am i missing something here?

      Most user manuals are created through copy and paste. The person who approves the manual may never read it. So, it is not uncommon such errors are encountered her and there.

      If it cannot switch on, you have to visit the service centre. You can try to press and hold volume down button when pressing the power button.

      There are many voice recording apps in play store.

      But if you want to record phone conversation, there are no such apps for moto e. It’s illegal in most regions to record phone talk without consent of the other party, so android removed this feature long time ago.

      it is a keyboard setting. Go yo Settings–language and input–Google keyboard–preferences. You can turn off vibrate on keypress, and sound on keypress.

      Most websites may not allow download.

      If you can find the link for the mp3 file, tap and hold the link to get the option to save link target.

        I am having a similar problem, I was able to save link for xvideos a few minutes ago and I blocked it so I can stop it because it was taking to long but now when I try to save Link the videos it won’t download them what do I do.

      You need turn on visibility of other devices. By default, most device is visible to paired devices only. You can also turn on visibility of Moto G temporally.

      Any error messages?

      You may try to clear cache and clear data for the gallery app in Settings–Apps–Gallery.

      You may also try to reboot the phone to see whether it helps.

    but did not respond.
